The cultural Evolution of Pirtaj South Hills (Eastern Slope of Central Zagros)

Abstract
South PirtajMound is located on the eastern slope of Central Zagros,Bijar County, Kurdistan Province,where Archaeological researches were carried out.The eastern slopes of Central Zagros in the Northwest direction on the one hand and adjacent to the northern and eastern areasof Central Zagros on the other hand,have caused cultural,economic and commercial relations with other places.This area has been the focus of population groups since the Early Bronze Age,and then with the settlement collapse,it is re-inhabited again in the historical and Islamic period. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the cultural sequence of ChalTepe,to study the pottery traditions of the residents by studying the cultural materials of the site.The results of this research obtained information worthy of attention regarding the cultural interactions of different periods and tried to answer the question,what were the cultural links of Tepe chal region with other regions?This research studies the pottery of the area with field speculation and then a descriptive-analytical approach.The results of this research include pottery findings from the Early Bronze Age,the historical era, and the Islamic Middle periods. In the Bronze Age, in the art of pottery, the influence of the cultural traditions of Yanik can be seen strongly in Tepe chal pottery.The pottery of this area has many variations in terms of role and technique.The relative chronologies indicate the links and cultural interactions of Tepe in the Early Bronze Age with the Caucasus,Anatolia,and Northwest Iran,and in the historical and Islamic eras,we see more influence and impressions from the Central Zagros.
