Iran and Greece, as two great and ancient civilizations, each have their own myths about creation and each of them has raised the issue of creation in their myths. Studying this issue, comparing, analyzing, and pondering on the myths of these two civilizations, known as the most ancient mythological systems, is so significant. The purpose of this article is to compare the mythological features of the two civilizations of ancient Iran and Greece and to express the common features and differences between these two mythical thoughts on the subject of creation. In this article, which has been written in a descriptive-analytical method with a comparative approach and in the form of a library research method an attempt has been made to analyze the myths of the creation of two civilizations of Iran ‌‌and Greece, relying on common mythological components. The research findings show that despite the differences in components such as the stages of creation, the creation of the first man, the sin and descent of the first mythical man, the role of the gods in the myths of creation, the recreation, and end of the world, there are similarities in the mythological narrations of Iran and Greece like precedence of worlds creation over human and human's disobedience.
